Last updated October 1, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes activities that are prohibited when using the services provided by Zilonet (the "Services"). It applies to everyone who uses the Services and is incorporated into our Terms & Conditions. Violating this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your account without refund.

1. Illegal and Harmful Activities

You may not use the Services to store, publish, transmit, or link to any content or to engage in any activity that is unlawful or that facilitates unlawful activity. This includes, without limitation:

  • Child sexual abuse material or any content that exploits or endangers minors.
  • Content that infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others, including pirated software, media, or counterfeit goods.
  • Fraud, phishing, identity theft, pyramid schemes, or other deceptive practices.
  • Content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or that incites violence or hatred against individuals or groups.

2. Security Violations

You may not use the Services to compromise the security or integrity of any network, system, or account. Prohibited activities include:

  • Unauthorized access, port scanning, or vulnerability probing of systems you do not own or have permission to test.
  • Distributing malware, ransomware, viruses, worms, or other malicious code.
  • Launching or participating in denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks.
  • Intercepting data, cracking passwords, or forging headers or identifiers.

3. Email and Messaging Abuse

You may not send unsolicited bulk or commercial messages ("spam"), harvest email addresses, or operate open relays or mailing lists without verified opt-in consent. All email sent through the Services must comply with applicable anti-spam laws and must include valid sender information and a working unsubscribe mechanism where required.

4. Network and Resource Abuse

You may not use the Services in a way that degrades performance for other customers or places an unreasonable burden on shared infrastructure. This includes running processes that consume excessive CPU, memory, storage, or bandwidth beyond the limits of your plan, operating public file-sharing or proxy/VPN services on shared hosting, or cryptocurrency mining.

5. Prohibited Content and Services

The following uses are not permitted on shared hosting environments, and may be restricted on other plans: high-volume adult content, HYIP or investment schemes, bulk SMS gateways, and any service designed primarily to facilitate the activities prohibited by this AUP.

6. Domain Registrations

You may not register domain names in bad faith, in violation of a third party's trademark, or to impersonate another person or organization. Domain registrations must use accurate registrant contact information and comply with all applicable registry and ICANN policies.

7. Reporting and Enforcement

We investigate reported violations and may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate this AUP. Where activity poses an immediate risk to us, our customers, or third parties, we may act without prior notice. We cooperate with law enforcement where legally required.

8. Reporting Abuse

If you believe someone is using the Services in violation of this AUP, please contact us through your account support area so we can investigate.
